Risks:  Thermal, Device malfunction

Conditions: 

• Smart transmitter (external component) is MRI unsafe and MUST be removed
• Static field strength up to and including 3T
• Take precautions to monitor for and limit thermal injury

Comments: Continuous Glucose Monitors are otherwise MRI unsafe

Bottom line: Implanted component is MRI permissible within designated parameters. External transmitter MUST be removed.
