Conditions:

  • The patient control box must be present
  • The patient should display the MRI compatibility screen
  • Determine what scan if any is permissible based on the following
    • Field strength
    • Head only vs. whole body scan
    • Transmit/Received (T-R) coil required
  • Place device in MR compatible mode
  • Scan the programmer confirmation screen and upload to PACS
  • Patient controller may not be brought into Zone IV
